Stagecoach State Park, Two-day Camping Trip

  • The club is not charging any fee for this one, but would like to know who is going to be there.
    One going to travel and/or otherwise be involved in this event. (One may be just carpooling or sharing meal(s) or accommodations.) There is no requirement of bike riding.

 An early-bonus bicycle ride at noon on Friday September 20th, from Storm Peak Brewing, 1885 Elk River Plaza, Steamboat Springs, 80487; to Steamboat Lake State Park; and, back.

 Stagecoach State Park is about seventeen-miles south of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; and, is where we are to be camping Friday and Saturday nights, on site Juniper Group Camping.

 Cost for this reserved site is nominally set at $25-per-person.

 In-addition, park pass/entrance fees

  • Daily Pass: $8-per-day, expiring at noon; or,
  • Annual Pass: $80-per-year affixed, or $120-per-year hang tag; or,
  • Aspen Leaf Annual Pass for 64-year-old-or-older: $70-per-year.

 FCCC has a paid-reservation at Stagecoach State Park for the Juniper Group Camping Area (Sites 54 through 57) for Friday-through-Sunday-noon. It offers facilities for up to eighteen people: two RV sites (featuring 30-amp electric hookups, which require an adapter for directly plugging-in a household {2- or 3-prong} plug); parking for at least four additional vehicles; and, three developed tent pads (though up to ten tents are allowed on it, just do not pitch one on the vegetation). Its facilities include picnic tables, flush restrooms, grills, and a central group fire ring/gathering area.

 A coin-operated shower is available at the marina, which is close-by. It may be a good parking place for your loaded vehicle, Sunday morning(?)
