Note: This ride does NOT meet at Spring Park. Ride starts and ends on Weld County Road 19/ CO HWY 257 where it crosses the Poudre River Trail. This will be the second attempt to do the June ride that was cancelled due to rain. Directions: From the intersection of I-25 and Larimer County Rd 32/CO Hwy 392 go east on Hwy 392 through downtown Windsor for 5.4.miles; turn right/ south on Weld Co Rd 19/ CO Hwy 257 for 2.1 miles. Trail and a parking lot will be on the left/ east side of the road. This flat ride will go to Island Grove Park in Greeley and back along the scenic Poudre River Trail. There will be an optional meal stop at the end of the ride at Austin's Homestead on Pelican Island in Water Valley, Windsor. Distance will be about 28.106 miles, or so, out and back at a social 12-14 mph pace. There are numerous places to stop along the trail for those that want to stop and wait for the rest of the group on the return leg.
